Jorge Fergie is the Managing Director of ECM, based in São Paulo, with over 35 years of experience advising, investing, and operating across Latin America, with a focus on energy, infrastructure, and capital-intensive industries.
He spent nearly 30 years at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Partner, working extensively across Latin America and advising leading corporations, investors, and governments on strategy, large-scale transformations, and privatizations.
He later joined KKR as Managing Director, where he led KKR’s investment activities across Latin America for approximately five years, building the regional platform and overseeing investment execution and portfolio value creation across key markets, including Brazil and Mexico.
Jorge is the Founder of Nimax Capital and has served on multiple boards across the energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors. He brings a broad and well-rounded body of experience in investment strategy, operational improvement, corporate governance, and value creation across the region.
He holds an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
